Word to big bird!  The MLA site has been totally refreshed and updated with some dope new design aspects!  Be sure and check out each page listed on the right to see the new look of each page.  Definitely make sure you check out the new AUDIO page.  We’ve got some dope new widgets that allow you to listen to each album, download it if you’re digging it, and purchase a CD if you’re old skool like that.  Also, be sure and scoll down to the FOLLOW US icons in the right sidebar, where you will see links to the MLA Facebook page, Twitter page, MySpace page, YouTube channel, , iTunes page, and Amazon MP3 page.  We’ve now made it easy for you to get your MLA fix all over the web!  We’ve got some exciting new projects under way and we’re ready to take the label to the next level in the upcoming months.  Definitely stay posted and drop a line if you have any feedback for us!

So Kers has been working hard on several new projects and two of them are nearing completion.  The first project he will be releasing is a free EP entitled “The Homework EP”.  This is a 4 track project produced entirely by Glad2Mecha it will feature Foreknown Apostolic and will have cuts by DJ Choice One.  The next project he will be releasing will be called “Happiness Is An Illusion.”  This project is entirely produced by Society of the Invisibles member and Babygrande recording artist Annex.  It will have a feature by Xololanxinxo of OMD and Toca. Both of these projects are scheduled for release later this year.   Kers has also been working on several group projects.  Two of the projects are with his group Equal Opportunity which consists of Kers and Glad2mecha.  The first project being released is entitled “Shrinkrap”  This project was recorded entirely in 2006 it has been sitting on the shelf.  Kers and Glad feel it is finally time for you all to hear their thoughts and feelings from their younger years.  This project will come out before the end of the year.  The 2nd project is entitled “Growing Pains” and will be released mid 2009.  It contains features from Life Rexall of the Shapeshifters, Adru The Misfit from Nez Beats, Xololanxinxo of OMD, DJ Drez of Project Blowed and more.  Kers has also been working on a project with MLA label-mate Foreknown Apostolic.  This project currently does not have a title or a release date.  We just though we would let you all in on the secret.  This project is in the early stages and already has production from Pickster One of the Drunken Immortals and Fantastic B-Boy from Germany.

This July you can also catch Altitudes and Elevation.  Kers will be performing a solo set as well as performing with his group Orchestra Records at Hollywood Alley.

We feel its time for you all to hear all the work that Kers has been putting in for years. There is no better time than now.  So keep your ear to the street and myspace and you will all be some of the 1st to know when the heartfelt emotional projects will be available.
