YES! It’s that time again! I have a brand new track ready for you. This one is called “LIFE’S LABRYNTH”. This one is somewhat personal for me. I came up with the beat one Sunday when I was sitting in church. I literally heard this song in my head, and after church, went straight home and created most of the beat for this song. Usually, I don’t make music on Sunday, but I felt inspired with this one.

Wuddup fam! Arhythmatik is at it again- in case you’re out of the loop, he’s releasing 1 song each month from now on. Considering it’s the first day of the great month of September, we’ve got another great track for you to rock out to. This one actually takes a very personal situation Arhythmatik is going through, and turns it into a head-nodding banger. Arhythmatik is going through a divorce and some of his thoughts and feelings are expressed in this track. Arhythmatik has begun posting snippets of the new tracks from his latest album “Equations” on his blog at www.arhythmatik.com.  He will be posting a few more snippets over the next few days, then blogging about each track when the album drops.  Hold on to your hats folks!  This is gonna be fun.

SPOKEN NERD’s new album APOCALYPSE AWARENESS DAY is about to be born this March! This is a joint release along with LISTENER’S RETURN TOSTRUGGLEVILLE via Homemade Genius Productions (homemadegeniushq.com).  The artists are having their record release party in Nashville at HumanKind on February 27th but Nathan and Dan refer to this “party” as more of a duo baby shower. “Just a couple of boyfriends who decided to get pregnant with new albums together!”  The release party- InfamyPreservation- is going to be a blast any way you look at it so go ahead and buy your plane tickets and witness the birth of two great records.

That’s right y’all! It’s about time for our very own Foreknown to release his first album! You can check him out LIVE at the album release show Aug. 28th at Hollywood Alley (2610 W. Baseline Rd., Tempe AZ). Of course, following the release, you can cop the album here on mlahiphop.com in the STORE section.

So Kers has been working hard on several new projects and two of them are nearing completion.  The first project he will be releasing is a free EP entitled “The Homework EP”.  This is a 4 track project produced entirely by Glad2Mecha it will feature Foreknown Apostolic and will have cuts by DJ Choice One.  The next project he will be releasing will be called “Happiness Is An Illusion.”  This project is entirely produced by Society of the Invisibles member and Babygrande recording artist Annex.  It will have a feature by Xololanxinxo of OMD and Toca. Both of these projects are scheduled for release later this year.   Kers has also been working on several group projects.  Two of the projects are with his group Equal Opportunity which consists of Kers and Glad2mecha.  The first project being released is entitled “Shrinkrap”  This project was recorded entirely in 2006 it has been sitting on the shelf.  Kers and Glad feel it is finally time for you all to hear their thoughts and feelings from their younger years.  This project will come out before the end of the year.  The 2nd project is entitled “Growing Pains” and will be released mid 2009.  It contains features from Life Rexall of the Shapeshifters, Adru The Misfit from Nez Beats, Xololanxinxo of OMD, DJ Drez of Project Blowed and more.  Kers has also been working on a project with MLA label-mate Foreknown Apostolic.  This project currently does not have a title or a release date.  We just though we would let you all in on the secret.  This project is in the early stages and already has production from Pickster One of the Drunken Immortals and Fantastic B-Boy from Germany.
